It has been a year since the feds swooped down on the hard money lenders and the effects have rippled across our nation. Maryland isn't immune. Throughout the state there has been a rise in the foreclosure rate which has brought the buyers and investors out of the woodwork. It would be prudent for investors to go under their mattresses and pull out that 'rainy day' money because its pouring right now. Sellers are offering concessions across the board from down payments to closings. This is truly a buyer's market. It won't be for long though.
